I just returned from Incredible India! And I must say that the food in Chennai is absolutely incredible. (And for the 100,000th time, I didn't get sick!)

I bring to you after a 1 month respite... a collection of a meaty mainstream sounds transitioning to progressive and alternative beats. My soul was in dire need of alternative music after spending about 4 months mixing nothing but mainstream music. Don't get me wrong; I love the pop. But it would be like shoving Mozart down my throat for the rest of my life without any Chopin or Stravinsky.

I said "shove".

There are 2 repeats from prior sets. Why? Because... they remind me of someone and very fond memories. After being away for 2 weeks I needed to be reminded of some really good times here at home.

This is the final weekend of the Gay Internet Radio Live contest. After putting together over 700 minutes worth of music together for the contest, countless hours preparing my demo for another San Francisco based contest, and spending at least 2 months preparing for Bearcelona.08/Barcelona, Spain, and still doing my full time job teaching I would say I am thankful this all came together as well as it did. This is a lot of hard work, friends. I am very pleased with the work I have done and thankful for all your support.

I DJed a totally energized 5.5 hours from midnight to 5:30AM for hundreds and hundreds of sweaty bodies at Club Nick Havanna. What an amazing experience. I am infintiely grateful for the organizers of Bearcelona.08 to give me this opportunity and to for all my friends from CA, FL, and everywhere else for supporting me and dancing non-stop from beginning to end!
